On May 18, 2022, at the beautiful Traverse in South San Francisco, BAHBL hosted an invitation-only CEO and CFO peer networking dinner with 40 attendees. After the drinks, appetizers, and dinner, our speaking program commenced with dessert and coffee.
• Dan Angius from Nasdaq discussed the IPO pipeline and covered challenges that CEOs/CFOs have been facing in executing on their IPOs in 2022. He also highlighted some topics that have been most important to private company CEOs/CFOs, such as proxy advisory, market volatility, buy/sell side engagement.
• Erin Cahill from PwC then spoke about ESG. Specifically, she touched on why businesses should start thinking about ESG strategy and what metrics are used to understand ESG from a regulatory perspective.
• Jonathan Norris from Silicon Valley Bank subsequently delivered the keynote presentation. Jon analyzed current market trends and detailed the flow of capital into venture healthcare (investment and fundraising) in Q1 2022.
