Erin advises companies who are pursuing or seeking to pursue a capital-raising transaction, significant M&A activity, divestiture or other cross border transaction. For a decade and a half, Erin has advised companies across the life sciences and healthtech industries, providing advice not just on technical accounting ramifications, but also on the impacts to the business with a broader focus beyond financial reporting.
As a Bay Area IPO Services Leader, Erin delivers IPO readiness assessments, where “big-picture” issues are identified early, project plans are developed and realistic timetables are established. Erin supports companies through the IPO process in both navigating complex accounting and financial reporting matters (Going Public) and identifying tasks needed to prepare the business to be a public company (Being Public). Often she works early in the process with her clients to not only discuss IPO readiness but advise on technical accounting and financial reporting issues that will need to be addressed with the auditor well before the going public process.
Erin has deep expertise in advising her clients on technical accounting and financial reporting issues that may arise as a result of their transaction, such as accounting for business combinations, stock compensation, impairment assessments, carve-out accounting, transition to new accounting standards, segment reporting, and SEC requirements amongst others. Erin is a licensed CPA in the State of Florida and the State of California.
